Chances are your Valentine’s Day was filled with flowers and chocolate, and maybe a little love.
But for some of you out there, your heart may be broken or just closed off a little.
Eastern medicine may have the answer to mending your ticker.

“If there is a blockage you want to release it and get the blood and chi flowing,” says Sherrie Matthews, a licensed acupuncturist.
Chi is energy, according to Matthews, of Ona Spa.
By using fine needles Matthews is able to pinpoint areas of concern.
“This point a lot of my clients call the happy point. It’s relaxing, it’s your 3rd eye… helps you be more intuitive,” Matthews says.
The overall point is to relax. When you do, you’re able to let more love in especially when you’ve been hurt, or if you’re stressed.
